From July 21 to 23, students of Seraj Art of Storytelling Academy conducted a series of storytelling sessions for children aged 6–8 and 9–12 at the Seraj Library in Kufor Aqab.

We joined the world in marking 80 years of Pippi Longstocking, known to our young readers in Arabic as Jinan. Together with the Swedish Consulate, we celebrated her birthday throughout the month of Aug. in our libraries.

In July 2025, 40 children joined us at Seraj Library & Cultural Center in Birzeit to sing, play, create, and let their imaginations run wild. Laughter, colors, and joyful creativity filled the space!

Palestinian storytelling is not only a powerful means of resistance but a beautiful art form worthy of study and celebration.

Seraj’s libraries offer programs in storytelling, music, art, and special topics to preserve Palestinian culture. They also serve as safe, beautiful spaces for tutoring, lectures, yoga, and games—whatever meets the needs and dreams of the community.
