Yoga & Storytelling sessions
January 2024 | Seraj Kufor Aqab
In this course, Kundalini Yoga will be blended with the art of storytelling. Through breathing, meditation, and relaxation, we will be able to express ourselves, remember and share stories about ourselves and our situations.
Seraj Storytelling Academy

Seraj Libraries Storytelling Academy is a 3-year course through which students learn the foundations that guide all of the Center’s programming. In collecting our stories, we know ourselves and one another more deeply. In curating our stories, we heal, root, and design. In performing our stories, we share, build, and connect.

BJ Wagner Fellows Scholarship Program
Begun in 2016, the Fellows Program provides financial support for University students from the various Seraj Libraries. The Fellows volunteer their time and provide a nurturing presence in the libraries. The program description outlines the criteria by which the awards are made. We make awards each semester of the school year. Our new close relationship with Birzeit University has made this program ever more important.
Remembering Cotton Fite
Our beloved friend and Seraj Board Chair Cotton Fite died on August 15, 2017 after a fall. A terrible personal loss for those of us who worked with this inspiring leader and a blow to the entire Seraj community.
